Illegal Drop at the 15th ? Possible Disqualification for Woods!

With the second round of the Masters over and the third eagerly anticipated a new storm is brewing and it is not in the skies around Augusta!
Late on Friday night Twitter was awash with stories and commentaries about whether Tiger Woods took an illegal drop on the 15th hole during Fridays play
Woods’ shot hit the flagstick on the fly, but caromed off and found the water/mud.
Now this is where the discussions begin:
"I went down to the drop area; that wasn't going to be a good spot, because obviously it's into the grain and it was a little bit wet," Woods said.
“So it was muddy and not a good spot to drop. So I went back to where I played it from, but I went two yards farther back and I tried to take two yards off the shot of what I felt I hit."
That is where the issue lies. Was the drop legal, costing Woods just the usual one-shot penalty for a drop? Or was the drop's placement — those two critical yards about which Woods spoke — illegal, necessitating a two-shot penalty?
It was not deemed illegal at the time — but if, on further review, it is deemed illegal on Saturday, that would mean Woods signed an illegal scorecard Friday — and that would be cause for DQ.
