Brain Davis Leads The Pack - RBC Heritage South Carolina

 

BRIAN DAVIS is in the lead at  the RBC Heritage in South Carolina the very event  where he lost a play-off after penalising HIMSELF. 

The Englishman, 38, called a two-shot penalty in the 2010 sudden-death showdown with Jim Furyk after moving a loose impediment on his swing.

But he bounced back at Hilton Head with a first-round 65 to lead by one from Americans Kevin Streelman and Charley Hoffman.
Davis said: “I still have people stop me in the street or at the golf club or at airports.
“People do remember the penalty but I’m just trying to move on from that and trying to win a golf tournament.”
