Stefani In Front In Tampa

 

 Shawn Stefani the PGA new boy continues to lead the Tampa Bay Championship at the halfway mark after a second round 70.

Stefani, who led by two after an opening 65, was hoping to increase his advantage after heading out in the morning wave but had to settle for a one-under round featuring three birdies and two bogeys.

However, with scoring conditions still tough at the par 71 Copperhead Course in Innisbrook, none of the afternoon starters could match his 36-hole total of seven-under 135.
