The
Olympic Games in Rio 2016 will feature golf and the organising committee have
offered a taster of what we can expect of the 18-hole golf course that will
host the event the world will be watching.
The
location for the course will be Reserva de Marapendi in the Barra da Tijuca,
the area that will house the largest number of Olympic venues.
Designed
by Hanse Golf Course Design and situated five kilometres from the Athletes
Village it will be used as a public course after the games which hopefully will
promote the game of golf throughout Brazil and South America.
