TIGER WOODS said today that he will has committed to three tournaments. Really his choice throws up no surprises:
The two upcoming World Golf Championships — next week's Accenture Match Play Championship and March's Cadillac Championship — as well as the Honda Classic, in which he finished second last year.
This means that Tiger will be playing for three straight weeks, through to March 10.
Woods won the Match Play in 2003, 2004 and 2008, and he was runner-up in 2000. He lost in the second round last year.
Following the Match Play event in Arizona, Woods will head to Florida for the Honda Classic, Feb. 28-March 3 at PGA National's Champion Course in Palm Beach Gardens. He tied for second place at last year's Honda Classic, two shots behind Rory McIlroy, after shooting a final-round 62. The Honda is something of a hometown event for Woods, who lives in nearby Jupiter.
