Snedeker, runner-up to Tiger Woods at Torrey Pines and to Phil Mickelso at Phoenix in the last two weeks, carded a four-under 68 at Pebble Beach on Sunday to post 12-under - a score later matched by new cult figure Hahn.
After a four at the long sixth, he put his tee-shot at the downhill seventh to just over nine feet and holed for a two and then made birdie threes at eight at nine from inside five feet after two superb approaches.
At one point, Snedeker enjoyed a four-shot lead but he was caught by Hahn after the rookie closed with a hat-trick of birdies at Spyglass Hill.
