Ladies European Tour (LET) - Quick 18 with Josephine Janson from Sweden

How did you get into golf?
My whole family plays: my mom and dad plays, so I started really young in Halmstad, south west of Sweden.
Best golfing tip:
Have fun and enjoy it! Don’t take it too seriously.
What is your home club?
Ringenäs Golfklubb: really close to Halmstad GC.
What’s your proudest achievement so far?
I have two team European Championship golds and one silver. One gold for the women and one silver and one gold for the Swedish national team: so that was pretty cool. 2007, 2008 and 2010.
Any superstitions?
It comes and goes. Nothing right now. Sometimes like marking the ball on a certain side.
Any holes in one?
Two: one a couple of weeks ago in Oklahoma. One when I was 14.
Any friends on the LET?
Caroline Hedwall, Louise Larsson.
Favourite golf course?
Carson Creek, in Oklahoma.
Shot you love to practice:
Flop shot.
What’s on your playlist?
Everything. I like house music and old rock.
What do you do to pass time at airports?
Watch movies.
Favourite movie?
Love Actually.
Favourite golfer?
Bubba Watson.
Lowest round ever:
Ten under at Ljungbyhed for my high school qualifying in Sweden, so nothing big.
When did you first play golf?
My dad played and brought me out to the golf course. I’ve been out there since I was two or three but didn’t really play until I was seven or eight.
Any siblings?
A youngest sister but I think she’s more into school.
Why do you play golf?
I enjoy it. It’s a really hard sport. It’s physical and mental and I like that. I like being outside too.
What do you do to relax?
See my friends that don’t play golf, hang out and watch a movie.
