Ian Poulter has moved into the world's top 10 after getting to the semi finals of the WGC-Accenture Match
Play in Arizona.
The Englishman progressed furthest of all 29 Europeans competing in
the 64-man event, reaching the semi-finals before going down 4&3 to
defending champion Hunter Mahan. His performance was good enough to see him move up three places from 13th to 10th in the latest round of world rankings and the 37-year-old is now hoping to get into the top five again which he managed to do after winning the Accenture Match Play in 2010.
