Tiger Woods Regaining Form

Tiger Woods: Putting lesson from Steve Stricker

Tiger Woods believes he is close to regaining his  best form after wrapping up a comfortable victory in the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral.
The world No 2 could afford the luxury of two bogeys over the final three holes as a one-under 71 was enough to clinch a two-shot win over Steve Stricker.
Woods has already won two out of four starts on the PGA Tour this season, and delighted with his great form throughout in Miami.
"I'm just trying to get better," said Woods after lifting his first WGC title since 2009. "It's very simple. I feel like my game's becoming more efficient. It's more consistent day in and day out, and I'm very pleased with the progress I've made.
"The greens got really quick out there. And if you left the ball in the correct spot though, you could be pretty aggressive and you could shoot a good number."
Woods also thanked his close friend Stricker, who conducted a 45-minute putting tutorial with the 14-time major winner on the eve of the tournament.
"Thank you to Steve for the putting lesson," Woods added. "It was one of those weeks where I felt pretty good about how I was playing, made a few putts and got it rolling."
"At times you kick yourself," joked Stricker. "He's a good friend. We talk a lot about putting. It's good to see him playing well."
