Arcos de la Frontera is in the province of Cadiz, which is the start of the famous "Pueblos Blancos" (White Villages) route. Surrounded by a vast array of traditions, cultures, cultures and experiences, the villages of Ubrique (famous for its leather production), Ronda (home to the oldest bullring in Spain) and Grazalema (a stunning mountain village) are all fine examples of traditional Andalucian Spain.
Jerez de la Frontera
The culture of Andalusia is clearly present
in this city. Jerez is the birthplace of the Flamenco, magnificent
wines, purebred horses, and is a reflection of the best that Southern
Spain has to offer. The Jerez and Sherry wine are world renown, as well
as the racetrack and beaches of El Puerto de Santa Maria.
Cádiz
This historic city offers numerous attractions. Its magnificent beaches
of fine sand are warm and inviting. The Arab and Romand civilization is
still present in the culture, the food, and the architecture. Cádiz and
its long carnival tradition is not to be missed.
Sevilla
In this wonderful city, you can visit the
Cathedral and Giralda, Reales Alcazares, the India’s Archive, and Torre
del Oro. Don’t forget to try some delicious ‘tapas’ in Triana, and be
sure to visit the old, Jewish neighborhood of Santa Cruz. The Opera in
Maestranza is short walk away from the Guadalquivir River.This wonderful area of Southern Spain is easily reached from the airports of Malaga, Seville, Gibraltar and Jerez.
